Blue Mussel Stud Earrings

These adorable little blue mussel shells were collected on one of my many beach walks with my pup near my home in Juneau, Alaska.

I gave new life to these mussel shells by encasing them in resin for maximum durability and strength, then setting them onto a hypoallergenic stainless steel ear post.

The entire inside of the shell is filled with hardened resin, and a light coating of resin has been applied on the outside, so there’s no chance of these delicate shells being broken, however these stud earrings are handmade and not indestructible, so please treat them with love and care.

Note - All shells collected were empty and washed up along the high tide line. I would never harm a living being to create my pieces 💜
